Sam North

Content and SEO lead

Sam combines more than a decade of hands-on cannabis cultivation experience with six years working across content, SEO, and digital strategy.

After moving from cultivation into cannabis writing in 2020, his role developed beyond editorial content to encompass SEO, content strategy, and search-led digital growth. His experience now spans editorial and educational content, search-led website strategy, and the use of performance data to guide how content is structured, developed, and improved. Central to his work is a passion for cannabis education, helping to destigmatise cannabis through clear, accurate, and accessible information.

Since 2023, Sam has focused predominantly on the UK medical cannabis sector. At Glass Pharms®, he leads content and SEO, helping shape the company’s website and organic search strategy while communicating the science, technology and expertise behind its approach to pharmaceutical cannabis cultivation.

Westminster Debate

Our thanks go to Jim Shannon MP for leading a debate in Westminster Hall on medical cannabis attended by two representatives from Glass Pharms. We heard powerful stories of success where medical cannabis has changed people’s lives and associated distress caused to patients from the financial burden and prejudice from poorly briefed police forces. Minister of State for Health, Karin Smyth MP responded with a prepared statement on behalf of the government. The government response focused on the need for more research rather than on improving availability for medicines with well understood safety.
