Our facility is not like any other cannabis farm. The cultivation of plants for the creation of medicines requires a higher level of standardisation and quality control than those used for food, or wellness products. We grow medical cannabis flower for third parties to make Cannabis Based Products for Medicinal use in humans, legalised in the UK in 2018.

It is essential that all potential contaminants from the environment be strictly controlled for to ensure that the end product is of the highest quality. In addition to this, the factors which control the development of the active pharmaceutical ingredients within the plants must be monitored and adjusted to standardise their production. 

Glass Pharms uses the most cutting edge technologies in glasshouse protected horticulture to optimise for purity and consistency. Until recently, controlling all of the variables necessary to make this a reality was almost impossible. Now, with the aid of AI, remote sensors, monitoring and automation techniques, Glass Pharms is able to replicate growing results to new standards of reliability for UK cannabis. 

From sourcing precision chemotypes that have proven efficacy, through to state-of-the-art testing for viruses fungi and mould, every step along the way is calculated to produced a highly standardised crop that the manufacturers of plant-based medicines can rely upon.
